Technology to fight food waste

One-third of the food grown in the word is wasted. Indeed, food waste is one of the major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions globally. For this reason, London-based Oddbox  delivers vegetables and fruits, directly from the growers to end customers. This perfectly edible food would not fit into other distribution channels for aesthetic reasons: colour, shape, etc. To foster further growth, the company has raised GBP16Mln and welcomes Burda (BPI) as new investor.
